Chicago!

We started fall/September with a trip to Chicago.  Troy had a conference to attend, and we tagged along. :)

Bless Daddy's sweet heart!!  He would leave for the conference every morning, while Juliet, Walt and I planned our day of fun.

We tackled the Windy City, just the three of us, while waiting for Daddy to finish each day.

We made a trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo...

....and spent a day at the Shedd Aquarium.

And we also spent plenty of time roaming the hotel an riding the escalator ....  twenty five times.  I know that people watching, had to have assumed that we'd never seen one.

In the evenings, we went to fun dinners and explored downtown Chicago.  I'm confident that Troy could have attended nice, quiet dinners with the conference each evening.  But instead, he always chose to finish up as quickly as he could, and be with us.  

Oh how I love his heart.

Thank you sweet husband for taking us along with you, even though I know it would have been easier to leave us behind.  We love you and cherish the memories you continue to create for us.
