Walt's Birth (Part 2)

I seemed to have taken a small break from blogging.

Snuggling a sweet baby always seems more important!

I loved blogging about Walt's delivery.  The pictures are priceless to me.

But the hours following his birth were just as special.  He was introduced to the ones that will hold him (not only as an 8lb cuddly newborn!)......   but through all of life.

The ones that loved him before he even arrived.  The ones that will cherish him.....always.

The ones that fell in love with him at first sight....

....the ones that have waited for him...prayed for him, and cried tears of joy when finally holding him.

The ones that swell with pride when looking at him.....

....and quickly learn that he has changed their world forever.

They are the ones that will support him....

.....enjoy him .....

....boast about him! ...

.....protect him....

....and always want good for him.

They are the ones that will pray for him.....

..... not be able to get enough of him! ....

....and the ones that will help to create a lifetime of memories for him.

They are the ones that he will grow with......

.....and the ones that he will come to know....

....appreciate, and enjoy.....

....as much as we do.

They are his family.

And we couldn't be more proud to call them ours.

He doesn't know it yet, but Walt's first hours of life were filled with more love than some people receive in a lifetime.

There are many good things in my life that I'm sure I take for granted.  But these people....this family....  are not one of them.

I am pridefully, yet humbly aware of how precious they are.  Of how rare it can be to have a family that not only loves you....  but that give you a life with such meaning.

To think that these are the ones that will help to raise our Walt.... is a feeling of immense comfort and peace for us.

We have weeks of photos to share with you soon!

But I know that these images from his first two days of life.....

.....will always remain some of our favorite.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love,

Kristin
