Medicine, Magical Memories..... Mine.

Happy Halloween!

For this last day of October, I thought I'd post our 2013 favorite fall memory.

Whenever I do a long post, with dozens (DOZENS!!) of photos of Troy and I....  I understand that the only people willing to scroll through it .....are our mothers.

But with this post.... you'd almost have to be both family and a Disney fanatic to make it through it.

It's so ....SO long.

Do yourself a favor.....  come back another day.

A couple of weeks ago, Troy and I flew to Orlando for an 11 day workcation/vacation!  Part of our stay was for a conference....  and the other part...  for Mickey.

We stayed inside the "Disney bubble," at the beautiful, new Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek.

We had the perfect view from our room.....

with views of Disney....

I was beside myself.

Troy represented his department at the CAP (College of American Pathologist) convention.

CAP is the same conference that took us to San Diego (and Disneyland!) last year.

I'm beginning to wonder if the CAP president is a Disney fan......and possibly my long lost BFF.

Troy spent the first half of the week in conference....

....and looked oh so handsome every day.

We spent the evenings at our favorite Orlando dinner spots (all on Disney property of course)...

A couple of Troy's residents were attending the conference as well.  We met Mirna and Diana (who is also a Disney fanatic!) for dinner one evening.....

We also spent an evening poolside....

And watched Epcot's fireworks from our room at the end of every night.....

I took this one while laying in bed..... so neat to have a show every evening.

When the convention was over, we began our time at Disney World.

We spent two days at Epcot......

...and experienced our first Food & Wind Festival!

I can't say enough about this Festival.  So so neat.  Such great quality and quite the experience.

We took advantage of this (the festival is only during the fall).... and tasted our way around the world....

Here are a few pics from our day at Animal Kingdom.....

I'm convinced the characters are ALWAYS looking at me and me only.  Haha ; )

And Hollywood Studios.....

And MANY from our two days at Magic Kingdom....

I could spend an entire day taking photos at Magic Kingdom.  As many times as I've seen this famous icon....   I still can't get enough.

I love to photograph it from every angle.....

And seeing Disney in the fall was a special treat.......

I love to take pictures of the parades too.  Their expressions are fun to watch......

We did all of our MK favorites.....

And also attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party....

Such a fun evening with trick or treating, great Halloween themed parades.....

.....and a fabulous Disney Villain themed firework display....

We also visited our favorite Disney resorts for dinner and such.......

As vacation always does.....  our time came to an end too soon.

It's no surprise that I love Disney.

I love every thing about the experiences and memories they help to create.

But as I've always said.....  it really has nothing to do with this world class entertainment venue....

and everything to do with who you experience it with.

One even during dinner, Troy told me that he didn't know how it happened....  but that he still couldn't believe that I was his.

If he only knew how often I was thinking the same thing that week.

I am convinced that no one knows medicine like my brilliant, sexy husband does (part of the reason for this trip).  I am also convinced that no one creates magical memories for his wife, like mine does.

And I hope that I'm never convinced...... that this is just how it is.

But that I'm always taken back by how special he is....  and that he's mine.

I often sit back in awe of my life.

Not because of anything I have, or anything I've obtained....  but because of who I love.

It's the feelings of love that make a vacation memorable.

Troy,

Thank you for another memorable, fabulous vacation.

And more importantly......  for the conversation while walking to Figment.

I'll never forget it.

I love you.

And to all of you  (or to my moms or a Disney fanatic, the only ones that lasted!)....

Happy Halloween!!

Love,

Kristin
