Easter Week Part 2

I'm certain that the only thing more delicious than Cadbury mini eggs....  are giggling babies in bunny pajamas...

I could eat them up!

These are photos from Easter weekend!

On Saturday evening we made Easter treats...

And set out our baskets for the bunny....

The bunny left fun surprises...

Walt running into the kitchen that morning to see ...

After baskets (and chocolate bunnies for breakfast!), we headed to worship...

There's not another day more exciting to be in the house of the Lord, than Easter Sunday.

We were able to worship alongside Sam, Jason and Abby, which was very special for us...

It was a beautiful, Holy Spirit lead service, with those we love.

That afternoon we went to Grandmom and Grandad's for a delicious Easter dinner with our family...

We had baskets and dinner, followed by a cute indoor (rain!) hunt of hidden surprises that Grandmom did for Walt and Juliet.

We ended the evening with Facetime with MiMi and Easter surprises that she mailed to us.  We also came home to baskets of goodies from sweet neighbors!

Such a fun filled week!

Thanks for reading!

Easter Week Part 1

The week of Easter included so much fun, that it requires two post.

Before babies, Easter was a Sunday only event.  Now it seems it's a week long celebration!

Our week started with an evening of Easter egg dying.  Aunt Sarah and Uncle Eric wanted to color eggs with their niece and nephew.  We had dinner and then went to work....

Sarah spends her every day,  all day with a classroom of littles.  I'm always grateful that she somehow still finds the energy and time to be with mine...

Troy was off for a long 4 day Easter weekend (so nice!), which began with Disney On Ice!

And these special events wouldn't be the same without Grandmom and Grandad.  It was a fun family night out...

On the way out we found our favorite Elsa...

we also call her Katherine :)

We spent Good Friday working on house projects/shopping.....

And Saturday morning at the SWEETEST Easter parade...

If you have littles and have not gone to the Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade, mark it on your calendar for next year!

This parade had a small hometown feel that was just so sweet to me.  Each "float" threw handfuls of candy to the little ones.  Walt loved collecting all of the goodies...

Don't misunderstand....  this is no MSEP (if you know this Disney abbreviation, call me!), but simple and oh so darling for little ones!

That afternoon was spent playing in the water...

..and preparing to worship a risen Savior!

Part 2, up next!
