November!

Before I overload this blog with December photos, I have a few milestones from November that I wanted to record.


On November 1st, Troy and I left Walt for the very first time.  We knew that at 4 months old, it was time.  It would only get harder to leave him.

We went with a very reputable, qualified sitting service......

...that just so happens to have the best prices in town.


;-)

Troy and I went to a movie.  We had intended for our first date to be both lunch and a movie, but at the last minute decided that we weren't ready to be away from him that long.

I can't tell you a thing about the movie, as I spent the majority of my time checking my phone to make sure that Mom and Dad hadn't sent a text or called.

Walt had the best time, and Troy and I had such comfort knowing that he was in good hands.

Thank you Mom and Dad for being the best sitters....and taking payment in the form of a left over movie popcorn!  Ha! ; )



Early in November, Walt went for his 4 month check up and vaccinations.....

At 4 months he weighed 13lbs, 15 ounces and was 25 1/2 inches long!

We spent a rare 60 degree November day at the zoo....

Two of his aunts had birthdays this month!

We surprised Aunt Sarah at school on her birthday.....

And celebrated her at dinner....

And Walt made Aunt Christy a birthday card...

We celebrated her with a pizza party, but I forgot to bring my camera.  However, this November pic of them is awfully sweet....

We spent all of November decorating for Christmas.  Walt was such a good boy and moved from room to room with me, watching as I worked.

We took him toy browsing, so that he could make his list for Santa....

And as much as we love Santa and his elves....   we decided to do Walt's nursery tree in what we hope will one day be the true reason he celebrates Christmas...

November brought his first snow....

...and a countdown to his first turkey day.....

And we ended November with the start of solids (rice/oatmeal cereal!).....

November also included Walt's first road trip, which I'll blog about later today!
