Somebunny is ONE!

A spring baby was a treat for me.  Juliet was born a few days after Easter, and I love that she'll always be celebrated at such a pretty and fresh time of year.  I wanted her first birthday to be something that we could always go back to.  I want it to be a part of every future birthday.  Even if in a small way.

That lead to falling in love with all things bunny ....

I adored every part of this theme....

But as much as I loved the bunny cake, carrot shaped cookies, favors, and even bunny chair covers (I may melt!)...  .. nothing was as sweet as this...

Bunnies!

A yard full of cotton tailed babies almost as precious as mine!

I can not begin to tell you how sweet these babies were.  These bunnies hopped and jumped and loved on Walt and Juliet  .....

A bunny trail lead our party guest to the baby bunnies....

....and that is where most people seemed to stay : )

My babies, especially Walt, could not get enough!

The adults loved on the bunnies too.....  and we had to keep GrandMom from taking one home....

I later learned that Troy too was tempted to make one a family member...

After saying goodbye to the rabbits, we let our own bunnies hunt for carrots!  The big bunnies hunted in the field....

....and for the record, I still can't believe that these babies are now considered the big kids : (   ....

....and the baby bunnies had their own area.

Bless their little hearts.  All of them are so sweet...

We eventually went in to sing Happy Birthday to our baby....

.....and ended the party with more fun.

We started out this party planning saying that we would keep it small and intimate.  We have a small family, so I didn't think that would be hard to do.

But in the end, I'm always reminded that we have a huge family.  A house overflowing with people that love us.  Each and every one of them so very dear to our hearts.

What a blessing to not be able to have a small gathering.

And to know that every member there....   is family.

A party post is never complete without thank yous!

Judy- YOU DID AGAIN!  Her bunny cake was darling and exactly what I envisioned.  Thank you for sharing your talent and sweet spirit with us!

To our family- thank you for giving up your Sunday to love on our children.  And for the sweetest gifts...

To GrandMom and GranDad....  thank you for helping us all weekend.  With errands and set up/break down/clean up.  You help us to make the sweetest memories.

And last, but not least....

thank you Abigail Bennett (and Sherri!)!!  Your bunnies were the sweetest part of Juliet's big day!

Thanks for reading!

Love,

Kristin
