Last fall, we were swimming, wearing flip flops, and missing a Kentucky fall so much! Fall 2016 was a welcomed sight for us. We kicked off the season with a road trip to St. Louis. We stayed at the Union Station Hotel, and enjoyed sleeping in the historic train station.
But it was not the reason for the road trip.
We took our babies to Disney On Ice! When we discovered that the upcoming Louisville show would not be including CARS nor Toy Story (Walt's favorite), Troy insisted that we take him to the St. Louis, Pixar themed show. It was a very last minute trip, but so much fun.
These babies were captivated through the entire show, never moving a muscle. Such a fun evening.
We spent the next day at the St. Louis Zoo, and then headed back home.
Football seems to be the fall favorite activity for most people.... but it's never on our list of to-dos.
Until two of our best friends have children on the same team. Now that's a game we can't miss!
Jennifer's Will and Ann's Cameron both play for the Notre Dame Saints! We loved rooting for numbers 97 & 99!
And I loved an afternoon with my best friends...

September also included lots of work on our recent home purchase.
Managing contractors, painters, flooring, electricians, etc.,..... was quite the task.
But in the end....the two story great room that once felt dark and dingy to us....
became our own.
